What is Data Retention?
Data Retention uses policies to enforce the maximum age of stored results. Results older than allowed by the form's retention policy will be automatically deleted.
The Data Retention feature requires an Enteprise level Formsite account.
Set Data Retention Policies
On your account's "Data Retention" page, set a data retention policy for each form.
When a new form is created, it will start with your default data retention policy.
Shortly after midnight US/Central time, each form will delete any results older than allowed by its data retention policy. A result's age is determined by its last updated date, which is the date shown in the "Date" column on your form's Results Table.
Forms without a data retention policy will be ignored and will retain their results until you delete them.
Important: Deleting results is permanent. There's no way to undelete or restore deleted results.
