Getting Started
On your account's "Forms" page, if you don't have a form yet, start by clicking the "Create New Form" button near the top of the page. To edit an existing form, click the form's "Edit" link, or use the form's "Form Editor" main menu option.
The Form Editor has two main sections: the item section on the left and the form section on the right. The item section lists the item types you can add to your form. The form section is a "What You See Is What You Get" (WYSIWYG) view of what's already on your form.
The Form Editor uses a drag and drop interface. New items can be dragged and dropped from the list on the left, or existing items can be dragged and dropped to reposition them. When dragging an item, move it over the edge of an existing item. A green line will appear indicating the position where it will be dropped. You can place multiple items on a single line, but if there's not enough room, the item may appear to wrap down to the next line.
Add a New Item
Move your mouse over the item list on the left side of the Form Editor. As you move your mouse over each item type in the list, an info box will pop up with additional description. Items are organized by categories; you can expand/collapse a category by clicking its heading.
Locate the item you want to add and move your mouse cursor directly over it. When the item becomes highlighted, press and hold your mouse button and a blue placeholder box will appear beneath the cursor to indicate it's been picked up. Continue to hold the mouse button and drag the placeholder over an existing form item. Position the item so it touches an edge of the existing item and a green line will appear to indicate the position is valid. Release the mouse button. If the placeholder was dropped in a valid location, the new item will be created and its settings page will appear. If the placeholder was dropped in an invalid location, the item will not be created.
Move an Item
Move your mouse over an item on your form. When the item becomes highlighted, press and hold your mouse button and a placeholder will appear beneath the cursor to indicate it's been picked up. Continue to hold the mouse button and drag the placeholder over an existing form item. Position the item so it touches an edge of the existing item and a green line will appear to indicate the position is valid. Release the mouse button.
Edit an Item
Move your mouse over an item on your form. When the edit menu pops up, click the "Edit" option. The item's settings page will appear.
Delete an Item
Move your mouse over an item on your form. When the edit menu appears, click the "Delete" option. A confirmation dialog will appear. Once you confirm the delete, the item and any stored results it has will be permanently removed from your form.
Select Multiple Items
Move your mouse over the first item in the range you want to select. When the edit menu pops up, click the "Multi-Select" option. Move your mouse over the last item in the range you want to select. When the edit menu pops up, click the "End Selection" option. Each item in the range you've selected will become highlighted. Next, click the "Edit", "Copy", "Move", or "Delete" option to perform an action on the selected range of items.
Copy Items from Another Form
Select the "Item Blocks" category in the item list. Drag a "Copy From Other Form" item onto your form, as you'd add any new item. When the item is dropped in a valid location, a form selection dialog will appear. Select a form from the list and it will load in the editor. Move your mouse over the first item in the range you want to copy. When the edit menu pops up, click the "Begin Selection" option. Move your mouse over the last item in the range you want to copy. When the edit menu pops up, click the "End Selection" option. Once both a begin and end item have been selected, the range of items will be copied and the editor will return to your form.
